Common questions about the Dri-Scope Aid® Jet~Stream
Q: What is the recommended endoscope dry time?
Our default dry time is 10 minutes based on ANSI/AAMI ST91 and various clinical studies.
Q: How often should I change my filter?
Filters must be changed every 6 months. The unit includes a filter replacement indicator light to remind you when it's time.
Q: How often should I change my connectors?
Dri-Scope Aid connectors are single-use and should be disposed of after each use to prevent cross-contamination.
Q: How often should I change my tubing?
Dri-Scope Aid Jet~Stream tubing must be changed every 24 hours, or immediately if it has become contaminated.
Q: How can Jet~Stream be mounted?
Jet~Stream offers flexible mounting options: wall-mounted, attached to an IV pole, or placed on a countertop. Dri-Scope Aid also offers multiple Drying Stations to mount your Jet~Stream to fit each facility's individual workflow.
Q: Can endoscopes be dried vertically or horizontally?
Dri-Scope Aid is not dependent upon scope orientation — it works in either position. However, in general, vertical orientation is better for overall drying efficiency.
Q: How many scopes can Jet~Stream dry at once?
Jet~Stream can dry up to two endoscopes simultaneously, with independent timers for each scope.
